People make the mistake that Soho is only found in New York. Let this then shed light that there is also a placed called Soho in London, particularly at the West End. Soho has at least one square mile in size or land area. It used to be a farmland where cattle grazed in as early as 1536. According to many, the name came from the word or expression used during hunting. Soho was also a word used by the Duke of Monmouth to rally his soldiers during battle.

Nowadays, decency is observed and only the smoldering ashes of prostitution are seen.
